Can a Technical Skill help me work from home?
There are so many technical skills available to you that can be very beneficial to you if you decide to work from the comfort of your own home! But it’s important that have some other skills as well to ensure a successful business start-up.

1.Organization – You won’t have someone managing you any more to see if you’re staying on top of your tasks.  It’s essential to stay organized when deciding to work from home in order to keep yourself on track!

2.Motivation – Since your no longer in your traditional office environment and/or having face-to-face interaction with fellow co-workers, it can be difficult for some to stay excited about the work they’re doing. Be sure to have a plan on how you’ll show future clients services you’re offering in a way that shows you’re passionate and excited about it.

3.Be Tech Savy – You will need to have a good software and hardware setup. At the least, you’ll need to have a computer and/or a laptop with an external hard drive, smartphone and/or tablet with photo editing abilities (depends on what type of services you offer). Clients will want to email you, including attachments.

4.Balance – Making the transition from an office to a home business is a huge lifestyle change. It’s important to stay healthy and happy to ensure that you are a better worker in the long run.
